West Ipswich Post Office is a local family-owned business and well known for supporting local sporting teams. Debbie and Joe Baldwin joined the Jets family in 2018 as the official trainer sponsors, and now proudly have their logo on the Intrust Super Cup jersey too. We are proud to announce that the West Ipswich Post Office have offered their support in 2020 and 2021, and will be known as a 2020 Loyalty Partner, forever into the future.
2020 has been a time of uncertainty and challenges for us all, and just as the restrictions occurred, West Ipswich Post Office was bouncing back from their own challenge. Earlier this year an electrical fault caused a fire within their post office premises which resulted in the immediate closure of the store. Defined by their spirit, ambition, and resilience, business owners Debbie and Joe, reopened their doors in a short two week period after this heart-breaking event.
Debbie said, “We’re still recovering slowly after the fire. We have moved to our new location and waiting for our new fit-out which should be completed by the End of June 2020, it will be a new modern shop, bigger than the previous one, with better parking and access for customers”.
Commercial Manager Nicole McPhee stated “the partnerships we have within the community are what keeps the Jets strong. When we heard that the Post Office had had a fire, we immediately reached out and offered support. We are continually looking for ways to support our partners and in 2020 West Ipswich Post Office became our Post Office of choice with all of our online merchandise sales now posted via this Post Office. We are also working with the team at West Ipswich Post Office to create an activation to get people instore in the near future as well”.
