When the team at TAE Aerospace claim that they ‘keep the jets flying’, they really mean it.
They are the company that has its global headquarters right here in Ipswich, and their job is to keep the likes of the Super Hornets, Growlers and other military aircraft flying over the skies of RAAF Amberley and Australia’s fastest growing city.

So when the opportunity came up for TAE to help keep the Ipswich Jets flying on the footy field, they jumped at the chance, and are proud to be a major sponsor for the club in 2021.

“We are closely tied to the airbase at Amberley, and embedded in the Ipswich community, so it makes perfect sense for us to support a club that is going places on the footy and netball fields,” said TAE’s Chief Executive Officer Andrew Sanderson.

“We are based in what was once best known as the old Masters building in Bundamba, and we’ve expanded greatly on the site which is now our global headquarters right here in Ipswich.

“We work on the Super Hornets, Growlers, and the F35’s which are constantly keeping us safe as they fly around the city,” Mr Sanderson said. said. “Working on military aircraft is some of what we do, but in Ipswich, it’s what we love to do.

“We wanted to get involved with the Jets because we are a corporate citizen, and employ Ipswich people in our workforce, and we believe it is important to give back to the community we live and work in.”

A big sports fan, Andrew is just like everyone else, and can’t wait to see the Jets take to the footy field this year.
“Sport just isn’t the same without fans in the stands, and we can’t wait to see the team back on the pitch, with TAE right behind them, helping them fly!”

Ipswich Jets CEO Richard Hughes is excited to welcome such an Ipswich-focused company to the jets family.
“This partnership with TAE Aerospace is an important one” Mr Hughes said. “It’s wonderful to see such a prominent and well respected business such as this, recognise the importance of what we are doing and support us in this way. The opportunities we are planning together, will carry over many years.”

“We’d love to see our fans and community welcome TAE Aerospace to the Ipswich Jets and give them your support as they are doing for our local sporting community.”
